Christmas Spirit
Somersett seriously gets into the Christmas spirit each year. So many homes in the neighborhood are decorated, and one street in particular always seems to go all out. The entire Reno community can get in on the fun during the Somersett Neighborhood of Lights Contest. One night in early December each year, the gates are left open on the streets for everyone to drive around and view the lights. Pick up a map at the neighborhood clubhouse and vote for your favorites. Dates and winners can be found here.
If you’re interested in getting in on the fun, but don’t have the time or interest in getting up on a ladder, let Sierra Christmas hang your Christmas Lights.
